CONFERENCE CO-CHAIRS
Our conference co-chairs are the main organizers of SCYLC! They monitor and direct the planning process of the whole conference and oversee all aspects of the event. Their main goal is to ensure both the planning of the conference and the conference itself is smooth and without fault!
RHAMEL ROOMES-DELPEACHE

As a kid, I loved watching the Food Network. So every time I cooked I would act like I was the host of my own show and talked to an imaginary camera. “You are now tuned in to Rhamel’s cookout”.

I believe Spongebob Squarepants is a show a kid should never grow out of. It will always be my favorite childhood TV show and I still proudly watch it on Netflix.

CONTENT TEAM
Our content team is in charge of planning the workshops, events and activities for the conference. Their main goal is to make the conference engaging, interesting and interactive for all the delegates!

OUTREACH & MARKETING TEAM
Our outreach & marketing team is in charge of promoting the conference to high school students through presentations, and promotional material. They also run our social media, so follow us to get to know us!

I lost an adult tooth in Grade 8 by cracking it in half after biting on an overcooked french fry. Funnily enough, I still have three baby teeth.

LOGISTICS & FINANCE TEAM
Our logistics and finance team is responsible for the managing the funding and expenses for the conference, as well as organizing accommodation and merchandise. Their main goal is to ensure that the conference operations go as planned while staying within budget!
